Kiribans, I mean.

I really want to do one again, so I am. I'm just curious whether they went out of style 5 years ago (like most of my knowledge of DA). But, hey, it's a throwback. And free art. Just go with it.

It happens at 5555, since I like the number 5.

I've been gone for a while; I might not be around a ton, but I'll occasionally stop by. Gallery got cleaned-- old stuff and stuff that I was a little "uh..." at now lives in scraps, if you still want to check it out.

I've missed drawing. :3

The World Must be Ending

Sat Jul 8, 2006, 2:19 PM
Why?

Well, because after the three years I've been bugging my dad to get one, trying to make an old one work and finally being so tired that I couldn't go on, I've finally done it.

Ai-chan has bought a scanner!!

**insert party here**

So, let's try it out, shall we? >D :evillaugh:

In Which I Exercise and Am Exorcised

:bulletred:General Directory

Behold the strange tale that befell me whilst I was in school a few days ago...

As my official New Year's resolution, I decided that it would be a good idea to run around for about 30 minutes on the treadmill. It was alright until I started to experience all the reasons why I hated running, like: stomach cramps, leg pain, boredom, blah. And then to top it off, I sprained/ hurt my ankle and kept running on it. Which was stupid. =3 But I did it anyway.

So...now, it sucks. Royally. xD But ankles aren't that important. ;) It just has to get better by the end of this week so that I can escape going to the doctor.

School's been good. Mid-terms came horrendously close to eating me alive, but I managed to survive. And...I came out of the experience with a very interesting tale:

A Tale of Horror!

A Story of General Creepiness!

A Tale of Caution to All Otakus!

*dramatic suspense!*

...

The Exorcism of Ai-chan!

One day, unsuspectingly, I walked into my Latin teacher's classroom. This I do usually because it has a nice view of the scenic vista of...trees that surround my school. And because I enjoy Latin. <3

A few students were still there, innocently picking up their projects (they had to build bridges out of straws that would hold 3 or more bricks) as they left. I came in and began to chat with some people I knew. It was, on the whole, a normal day.

Soon, the room became gradually more empty, until it was only me, the girls I was speaking with, and my Latin teacher. Inevitabely, the subject of manga was brought up.

There's a group of us at school who trade manga (because we can't afford it all on our own :D ) and we usually pass books to one another that we like/ we happen to have. The girls I was speaking with had recently acquired some new ones, one of which was called 'Demon Diray'.

Unknowning of the consequences, I looked through it, the otaku in me eager to see another story with pictures, and, just at that very moment...

(for the rest of this story to make sense, the reader must be aware that Ai-chan attends a very strange school. Katsukira-chan can attest to this. This very strange school that I attend happens to have priests as teachers- because it is Catholic. ^^ Okay, now read on!)

...a priest walked in.

Keep in mind that Ai-chan has blonde streaks in her hair, and was wearing a very pretty (but very formidable) overcoat while she was reading a manga called Demon Diary and generally looking evil. <3

The priest made a joke about demons, and then, seizing the conviennently placed, open bottle of water that happened to be nearby, began sprinkling the other girls and myself while saying an actual prayer to ward off and dispell demons.

So...

I got very wet.

People always said that strange things happened to you in high school. xD I never guessed that this was what they meant by it.

I need to talk to Pronk now and see if she can't help me with my demon problem (or at least give me a loaner demon until mine come back).

And that, fellow otaku, is why you must be very careful about whom you read manga around. =3

Good Holloa (Again)

Fri Dec 30, 2005, 6:37 PM
xD I've been gone for a while, huh?

300 messages look like death, but that just shows me that I shouldn't away for so long.

What happened? School. It ate me.

But I valiantly fought back and here we are. On vacation. 5, 6 weeks later. ><;; Yes, I let things go a bit...

I'm working on stuff, though. Keep in mind that I'm taking 2 APs (Chemistry and History), so things are a little tough.

The good news is that I've managed to draw something/ My tablet was actually getting dusty. O.o Perish the thought...yes, it was. I'm still trying to get those nice lines like some people have... *cough* Karaii-chan *cough*

It's nice to be back, though. <3

Listening to: Weezer- 'Beverly Hills'
Watching: The Phantom of the Opera

Oh yeah! XD 1-week subscription! :boogie: It's not going to last long, so I have to write a journal entry quick before I lose my neat-o * mark...:D yay...*ai-chan :aww:

I am going to do so many searches now...:evillaugh:

Anyway~~ Things are good. I've got a really busy week ahead of me, including a cello concert, a Latin Honour Society Induction, many cello practices, rough draft papers due, and a test on Catullus. :D I really hope that I didn't plan on sleeping at all this week...

In other news....The Phantom of the Opera came out on DVD and I have it!!! :faint: I kept looking longingly at the store windows and everything until Mom finally took me to Blockbuster and we found a copy of it for me. ^^ Now, I am going to watch it over and over and over and over.

Italy was great! The flight wasn't so great, but getting to see neat ruins like Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Paestum (favourite) was. The hotel we stayed at in Sorrento had a balcony and each night I'd go out and muse at the stars. We had a great view of a trail of lights slinking their way around a nearby mountain, and it looked just like a parade of tiny ghosts marching through the night. (of course, in all reality, it was probably just the highway streetlights, but it still was really cool).

We also went out each night to get gelato-- ice cream (yum)-- and it rained a lot (which was unusual). The streets in Italy are so narrow! My entire group (I was travelling with my school) had to try to squish into a very small alley to get ice cream, since the shops are right on the streetfront, and also manage to leave enough space to avoid the oncoming scooters. I was standing right under an onslaught of rain pouring down from the overhang, but I didn't notice. :D (why? because dear Ai-chan is a space cadet) Someone did eventually notice and I shared an umbrella. ...I meant to buy an umbrella, too. One with lemons on it...I also want a sweatshirt and more postcards. ( XD I need to go back now) It was really great, though!

I don't like trying to do homework so close to vacation. ><;; Especially homework that I really don't like or agree with. Argh. I want to draw...

Will probably update later, if not, the next day. ^^
